We have pretty much lost faith in the rumor we published yesterday regarding Apple making a 5.8-inch iPhone with OLED screen. While the initial claim itself is not outlandish, pointing to a 2017 (at the earliest) launch for the device, the latest report suggesting Apple will fit the handset with folding screens has us plenty skeptical.

Apple is fully expected to launch a smaller (iPhone Se) this month, but what about the company's upcoming flagships that will launch at the end of year? The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus should be a near total overhaul of the current iPhone 6 range, and that could mean an even larger screen for the Plus, according to some reports.

Android 6.0 Marshmallow is struggling to gain any traction in the market, and after nearly six months available for devices it is on just 2.3% of all devices running the platform. While Android adoption is always more stagnant than on rival platforms iOS and even Windows, this very low number is sure to disappoint Google.

The Windows platform has always struggled against the market dominance of Android and the sales might of Apple. Microsoft's OS is very good and gets better all the time, especially in its current Windows 10 guise, but it has always been under supported in terms of high end flagships. Traditional smartphone giants have shied away from the platform, leaving Microsoft to forge its own hardware path.

Apple is breaking with convention and will launch a bunch of new products this spring. Over recent years Cupertino has shifted its product announcements to the fall, even revealing the Apple Watch in September, six months before it launched. Of course, spring launches are not unprecedented for the company and Apple is returning to the early year launch silly season with three new products that will be announced on March 15th.
