Both Best Buy and Verizon have started shipping the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge, the two new flagships from the Korean giant. Samsung said during the launch of the handsets that it would launch the devices on March 11, but it seems the two U.S. based retailers are getting ahead of the game and fulfilling pre-order commitments early.

Sony was the first, and so far only, smartphone company to debut a handset rocking a 4K resolution screen, but while the Xperia Z5 Premium has been described as a gimmick, one of Sony's main rivals thinks 4K will become more popular in the mobile space.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge are a pair of smartphones that are packed to the gills with the latest mobile hardware, a veritable mix of the latest and greatest technology. However, while Samsung has spared no expense in virtually all departments, it has seemingly stopped short of pushing the boat out for quick charging.

The Ball's in your court HTC. Just about all of the company's main Android rivals used the MWC week to launch new flagships, such as Samsung, Xiaomi, LG, and Sony. The Taiwan based giant also announced some low end affairs, but the HTC smartphone we all want to see is the One M10, the company?s upcoming flagship device.

Xiaomi bide its time when most of its rivals launched impressive new handsets at MWC, including highlights from Sony, LG, and of course Samsung. We have waited a long time for the Mi 5 flagship to arrive, so Xiaomi really had to deliver something special.

Samsung may have been focused on the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge smartphones at MWC this week, but the Korean company also found time to launch another product. The item in question is the Gear 360, a camera that allows users to take 360 degree images and videos, following a similar product launched by LG this week, the 360 VR.

We have already seen LG's new G5 flagship, a smartphone that aims for innovation. Samsung was never going to produce something as fresh with the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge, and so it proves with the two flagships revealed at MWC. Sure, fresh innovation may be missing from these handsets, but instead Samsung has set about perfecting devices that were already among the very best on the market anyway.
